Yahoo Mail on Outlook Express

Someone asking me, hey boy... Linux, linux and linux.. is there any Windows tips here?

I enjoy to give a tips for you and share my toy with you.
Have you ever using Outlook? Did you know how to use??
OK, now I want to share this tips for you. You can import anything inside Yahoo mail into Outlook. Sorry for bad English language lol..

Firstly, you must get this stuff (ypops):

http://dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/yahoopops/ypops-win-0.9.5.1.exe

Install ypops to your pc. Next step is right here:

> Select "Accounts... " from the "Tools" menu.
> Click "Add" button and select "Mail...".



> Enter your name and click "Next".
> Enter your email address and click "Next".
> Set "My incoming mail server is a" to POP3
> Set "Incoming (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) mail
> server" to "127.0.0.1".
> Set "Outgoing (SMTP) mail server" to
> "127.0.0.1" and click "Next". (Verify that SMTP is
> enabled in YPOPs.)
> Set "Account name:" to your Yahoo! login.
> Set "Password:" to you Yahoo! password and
> hit "Next".
> Hit "Finish".



> Click on new account named "127.0.0.1" and
> hit "Properties" .
> Rename account to "YPOPs" or something nice.
> Select "Servers" tab.
> Check "My server requires authentication" .
> Select "Advanced" tab.
> Change "Server Timeouts" to Long - 5 minutes.
> You may wish to select "Leave a copy of
> messages on server". This way the messages will not
> be deleted from Yahoo! when you download them.
> You may wish to select "Remove from server
> when deleted from 'Deleted Items'". This way when
> you delete a message in OE and empty the trash
> it's deleted from Yahoo! as well.



Ok.. you're closer now. Close outlook windows. Open oulook again. Choose Local Folder,
click on send and receive all button. Wait until it's download your email from Yahoo.

for Hotmail, you can visit visit  http://email.about.com/od/outlookexpresstips/qt/et061405.htm
and download its stuff. But don't use a fre one because it could not connect to Hotmail anymore. Hotmail no longer allows email access via Outlook Express for free email accounts.
